Niamh Lynch and Douglas Cubie Wedding

St. Mary's Church, Kilflynn was beautifully decorated, and was the scene of a very pretty wedding on Saturday, August 26th, when Niamh Lynch, daughter of Maura and John Lynch, Laburnum Park, Model Farm Road, Cork and Douglas Cubie, son of Heather and Professor Andrew Cubie of Edinburgh, Scotland were united in Holy Matrimony.
The wedding ceremony with Nuptial Blessing was celebrated by Fr. Peadar Murphy C.C Cork (uncle of the bride) and was assisted by Fr. Jack Fitzgerald, Abbeydorney P.P, and Rev Peter Marshall, Scotland.
The newly-wed couple hosted a gala reception for family and friends in the Dunloe Castle Hotel, Beaufort, Killarney. Chief bridesmaid was Caroline Lynch, (sister of the bride), Bridesmaids: Catherine Cubie, Valerie Lynch (cousin of the bride), and Patricia Lynch, (cousin of the bride)
The best man was Stephen Gethins.
Groomsmen were: James Lynch, Iain Galloway, and Norbert Schonbauer.
Music for this very special occasion was by The Orpheus Trio who rendered beautiful songs to suit the joyous occasion.
Cork Football Selector, Sean Murphy uncle of the bride, also enjoyed The Kingdom Wedding.
Niamh and Douglas are wished much happiness in their married life together.
