David O'Callaghan's Birthday
Suprise 40th Party birthday for Tralee Postman
David “Tiny” O’ Callaghan, Manor Village, Tralee was stunned on Saturday night 19th January when over 150 family members and friends gathered in Parker’s Lounge Bar, Kilflynn for his surprise 40th birthday party.
The big bash was organised by his wife Catherine and his sisters who made all the arrangements behind the scenes during the week. His cousins and friends in the computer industry had also been busy during the week and had the bar very tastily decorated with photos of David.
The Tralee Postman, known as “Tiny” was under the impression that he was going to a friends Christening. The music was provided by Mike Williams, Followed by a Sing-a-long, until the early hours of the morning. A fine spread of delicious B.B.Q food went down a treat with everyone and the floor was busy for the rest of the night and everyone danced to their hearts’ content to the very best of live entertainment.
David was the toast of the bar as he blew out the candles on his birthday cake and he showed his prowess on stage for a few songs and jokes. Later in the night the Tralee postman got the crowd going with a fine singsong, and a great night was had by all with the highlight being the 40 kisses given by 40 different ladies to the birthday boy.
