DENIS LYNCH MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING 2007

Over 60 golfers turned out in blustery and wet conditions in Killorglin Golf Club for the inaugural Denis Lynch Memorial outing, on Saturday 19th May. The massive turnout was truly a great tribute to Denis. The Golf was followed by a superb barbeque in Parkers Bar which was followed by the presentation of prizes. Fr Pat O’Donnell did an excellent job as MC. Many worthy tributes were paid to Denis during the presentation and it was fitting that two near neighbours of his Mundy Hayes and Willie Keane were on the winning team with Mundy as captain receiving the beautiful Denis Lynch Perpetual Trophy which was donated by the Lynch family. Our thanks to Killorglin Golf Club, Mike and Geraldine Parker for their Hospitality on the night.
